Upon initiation, processing, completion or reversal of a contract personal data are collected, processed and used by us in accordance with the relevant data protection regulations. Here we would like to inform you what information we collect when you visit our site and how this information is used.
General Data Protection Regulation
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures within the intention of Article 32 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), taking into account the state of technology, implementation costs and the nature, scope, circumstances and purposes of data processing as well as the likelihood and severity of the risk to the rights and freedom of individuals, to ensure a level of protection commensurate with the risk.
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures within the meaning of Art. 25 GDPR – such as pseudonymisation – designed to effectively implement data protection principles such as data minimization and to include the necessary guarantees in the processing in order to comply with the requirements of the GDPR. These measures are designed to protect the rights of individuals and to ensure that by default only person-related data required for fulfilling a particular purpose collected. We may accept orders only if you provide us with your first and last name, your postal address, the delivery address if deviating therefrom, the bank or card information required for the relevant payment method, your e-mail address and – to avoid confusion of identity and to test your business ability – to communicate your date of birth. We require this information, which is marked as required in the order form, for the processing of your order and the conclusion and fulfillment of the contract with you. We store and use this information for the purposes mentioned. This includes credit inquiries and the disclosure required for the execution of the contract to contracted service providers such as banking institutions, payment service providers and transport companies.
The payment service provider collects its own data during the use of the payment process. The extent of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the payment service provider as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy can be found in the privacy policy of the respective service provider.
If you choose a financial service provider to pay for our products, the transmission of data is voluntary. Likewise, in the case of postal consignment, you voluntarily provide us with your address data for forwarding to the transport company.
You have the option to pay for our products by bank transfer and to handle the purchase directly with us.
2. Use of Data for Advertising Purposes
In addition, we store and use your first name and surname, postal address, and, as far as you have provided this additional information marked as voluntary in the order form, your title, your academic degree, year of birth and your professional or business designations, in consideration of the data protection regulations:
- to further care for our customer relationship with you, for example to provide information about our products by sending catalogues or the like by post; - to inform about our products in the context of your professional activity by mail to your professional address, if so indicated with your order.
We do not pass on or sell your data for advertising purposes to third parties.
3. Use of your E-mail Address
If you have provided us with your e-mail address, we will inform you free of charge about interesting offers from our company for similar articles. If you no longer wish to receive any information, you can object to future correspondence by informing us at any time, for example by sending an e-mail to the following e-mail address: info@mono-konsum.com. Such a contradiction will not incur any costs beyond the costs of delivery.
4. Cookies
When you visit our website, small files, so-called cookies, are stored on your computer. In addition to the dynamic IP address of the computer from which our website is visited, the cookies store information as detailed under paragraph 5, generated by the web server of our website for the duration of use of our website. This information does not allow any conclusion to your person. The information is used for the purpose of securing the sales process. Use of Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp ()”. The IP addresses are therefore processed only in shortened format to exclude a direct attribution to any person. Your IP address will therefore be shortened by Google within the territory of the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. When using our website, we collect the aforementioned data exclusively in anonymous form and for the purpose of securing the functionality of our website. As far as we have commissioned other companies with the collection of data, we operate with contracts which oblige the contractor to observe the legal data protection regulations. Insofar as you place an order with us, conclude a contract with us or send us an e-mail with personal data, we collect and process your personal data exclusively for the purpose of carrying out the contract in justified interest pursuant to § 6 para. 1 lit. b and f GDPR or on the basis of your consent pursuant to § 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, for example to inform you by e-mail about our offer. Insofar as we have commissioned other companies (payment service providers) to process data, we operate with contracts which oblige the contractor to observe the legal data protection regulations.
Collected data is stored on our systems exclusively for the purposes stated.
9. Affected Rights under GDPR
You have the right to obtain information about your personal data we have stored, the right to rectification or restriction of the data, the right of deletion, the right to transfer data as well as a right to object to the collection, processing and storage of your data. If you have given your consent to the use of your data, you are entitled to revoke this consent.
You have the right to address any questions or complaints to any supervisory authority within the meaning of § 4 No. 2 GDPR.
